Baseline and repeat hearing tests for employees exposed to workplace noise, delivered in a quiet room at your site with results tracked year on year.

## At a glance

- Who it's for: Employers, contractors and HR teams
- Where: On-site at your workplace · Nationwide
- Service: Screening audiometry, ~15 min per person
- Turnaround: Quote within 1 business day

## Hearing loss is permanent. Catching it early is not optional.

Any worker regularly exposed to noise above the workplace exposure standard should have a baseline hearing test and then be re-tested periodically. This is common in construction, manufacturing, engineering, forestry, agriculture, transport and the trades.

We test at your workplace using headphones in a quiet room. Each test takes around 15 minutes, results are explained to the worker on the day and a written report goes to the employer with any recommended follow-up.

## A workplace hearing test includes

- Hearing and noise-exposure questionnaire
- Pure-tone screening audiometry
- Comparison against previous results
- Results explained on the day
- Employer summary report
- Referral advice where needed

## Proof your hearing protection is working

- Baseline on employment, then typically every one to two years
- Shows whether noise controls and PPE are effective
- Records for WorkSafe expectations and prequalification
- No soundproof booth required for screening audiometry
- A whole crew can be tested in a morning

Not sure who needs testing? Tell us which roles work near machinery, tools or plant and we will recommend a monitoring schedule.

> I recently took the first aid course with Dominique, who was incredibly friendly and had a fantastic teaching style. It was great to get some hands-on practice with the mannequins and hear about real-life situations from her own experience. Highly recommend!

## Questions about workplace hearing tests

Any worker regularly exposed to noise above the workplace exposure standard should have a baseline hearing test and then be re-tested periodically. This is common in construction, manufacturing, engineering, forestry, agriculture, transport and the trades.

### How often should noise-exposed workers have their hearing tested?

A baseline on employment, then typically every one to two years. Each result is compared against the previous one, which shows whether your noise controls and hearing protection are working.
